About the Event
A carton, paper, or wooden box, are an inevitable sore on the urban landscape. And like these urban sores, our own humanity has boxed us into little boils of septic motivation and determination, holding up mirrors to our faces, in the guise of heroes, revered in a history of synthetic trophies: exalted, enclosed, surrounded ... trapped? It is the paradox of being both hero, and villain, and victim at once.
The showcase collection Quadrupted is a display of focused disparity, juxtaposed in visual contrast.
