CollEXion

Commencing with about eighteen artworks, the private sale is aimed at creating a pool of prospects for the secondary art market. The project also opens opportunities for collectors to spruce up their collections, allowing the private sale and exchange of artworks with minimum fuss.

An idea initiated by Roberta Dans, Director of Artesan Gallery + Studio, the project allows a trouble free art trade with maximum discretion. “Clients have always asked me if I know someone who would be interested in an artwork they wish to sell, or source an artwork by a particular artist, because their tastes have changed. Not everyone wants to have to tackle through the complex sale course auction houses offer. The concept of collEXion is to offer an alternative commerce with less costs, and needless commotion. It also allows other clients to find a personal masterpiece without having to pay top dollar.”

Project CollEXion by Artesan hopes to provide a pool of quality art at reasonable price points, handled by an established gallery who exercises prudence and judiciousness as one of the foremost art professionals in the primary, and secondary art market.
